Amari Cooper will go down in Alabama football lore as one of the greatest wide receivers to ever don the prestigious crimson and white. Filling those big shoes will be difficult, but the Crimson Tide have some players who have the potential to do so.

This past weekend, Cooper caused some waves with his gaudy NFL Draft Combine numbers: a 4.42 second 40 yard dash, 33 inch vertical leap, 120 inch broad jump, and 3.98 second 20 yard shuffle (a 2015 combine high). These numbers prove how athletic he is, and his film proves how great a football player he is.

You don't simply "replace" someone like this.

Or do you?

Nick Saban has recruited some superbly athletic receivers over the past few years, so which ones have the ability to emulate the 124 reception, 1727 yard, 16 touchdown performance from Cooper last season?

    Cam Sims

Cam Sims may be the first option out wide for the Tide this coming fall. Standing at 6'4" and 208 lbs., Sims is a big body that will be a mismatch for every cornerback in the SEC. He saw limited playing time last season, pulling in only 7 catches for 62 yards and a touchdown, but expect to see him on the field a lot this coming season. Whoever wins the starting quarterback job, they'll have a nice weapon to toss the pigskin to in Sims.

    Chris Black

Black is the most experienced wide receiver for the Tide going into the 2015 season, but only has 23 career catches. He is a smaller type receiver, 5'11" and 186 lbs., but his quickness gives him the ability to get open by running crisp, clean routes. If offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin can call plays to get him the ball in space, Black could put up some Cooper-like numbers (should he get that many targets).

    Robert Foster

The five star receiver from Pennsylvania redshirted his first year on campus in 2013 and caught only six passes last season, but now is his time to show the Tide fans just how special he can be. Foster is close in size to Cooper, at 6'3" and 191 lbs., and is an explosive player who can both beat DB's downfield and can beat corners on a slant route. In reality, Foster may not step right into the #1 WR spot automatically, but he has the potential to be as special as Cooper.
