ATLANTA -- If you were to describe Nick Saban's postgame press conference in one word, "proud" might be it.

No. 1 Alabama defeated No. 16 Missouri, 42-13, Saturday night at the Georgia Dome to capture its 24th SEC Championship in school history.

"I can’t tell you how proud I am of this team,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said. “I don’t know if I’ve ever been so anxious to win a game for a group of guys.”
