Ladies and gentlemen, I am proof that dreams do come true--especially if you're like me and dream about food 85% of the time. I attended the Presidential VIP Dinner at Tuscaloosa Uncorked last night; it was incredible!

We hosted Tuscaloosa Uncorked at the Bryant Conference Center, and those who attended had a chance to taste wines from Alabama, the Southeast, and other amazing wineries across the world. After the tasting, our Presidential VIP's were escorted to Legends Bistro in Hotel Capstone for the dinner.

We were seated at one of two long tables; we all sat together for the dinner. The seating arrangement turned out to be a lot of fun, by the time the dinner was over, Leslee (our Live Events Manager), Ed Ramsey (the host of 92.9 WTUG's 'Quiet Storm'), and I had made several new friends.

The dinner was incredible. I mean, Y'ALL. The food was perfectly paired with a wine for each course, and each dish was delicious. The presentation was so on point I had to Instagram everything (check those 'grams HERE), and I kept texting my husband pics of the food and wine to make him jealous.

It's hard to choose a favorite, as everything was exquisite; however, the potato latke with salmon was the star of the night. It was so delicious, and the wine pairing enhanced the dish even more.
