Tide 99.1 Wins Three ABBY Awards from the Alabama Broadcasters Association

Tide 99.1 was honored with three ABBY Awards during the annual 'Best in Broadcasting Awards' dinner on Saturday, March 19th at the Hyatt Regency in Hoover.

Tuscaloosa radio host Ryan Fowler won two 'Best in Broadcasting' awards for his daily sports show The Game and veteran sportscaster Gary Harris took home a 'Judges Award of Merit' for his morning show.

The Alabama Broadcasters Association named Fowler best for a Medium Market Sportscaster and Medium Market Sports Show/Sports Talk Show.  The Game is the longest-running sports talk show in Tuscaloosa and airs every afternoon from 2 - 6 PM on Tide 99.1.

Harris earned his award of merit from the ABA in the category of Medium Market Morning Show. His daily morning show, which airs from 9 - 11 AM, began last August when the radio station expanded the programming lineup to be live and local nearly 12 hours every weekday.
