Tuscaloosa's only sports talk station will soon match its growth with an increase in reach. An official date hasn't been determined, but Tide 99.1 FM will be moving to 102.9 FM on Thursday afternoon at 2PM.

The new frequency will give Tide listeners more coverage around the city and the West Alabama region, which means you'll be able to pick up the best Alabama sports talk with a stronger signal and a greater range.

This change comes on the heels of a recent programming change that brought more talent to the station and expanded the daily lineup. Alabama fans can now enjoy 14 hours of live and local programming that focuses on the Crimson Tide each weekday.

Outside of the new frequency, little else will change. The daily lineup will still be as follows:

6 AM - The Morning Blitz with Martin Houston

7 AM - Inside the Locker Room with Wimp and Barry

9 AM - The Gary Harris Show

11 AM - Southern Fried Sports

12 PM - The Suttles Approach

2 PM - The Game with Ryan Fowler

6 PM - The Chris Stewart Show
