The Birmingham Stallions have soundly beaten the Houston Gamblers in a revenge game 38-15. This also means that the Stallions have clinched a spot in the USFL South Division Championship in Birmingham.

Alex McGough may have had a few struggles with a missed pitch and an interception, but he was able to redeem himself with two touchdown passes, one to tight end Jace Sternberger and one to receiver and kick returner Deon Cain. He also rushed for a score late in the game.

The Stallions defense also made tons of huge plays, including an interception by Quentin Poling and a scoop-and-score touchdown by Matt Hankins. The defense had been consistent throughout the past three games after learning from the fourth quarter comeback by the Gamblers earlier in the season.

The Stallions will likely play the New Orleans Breakers or the Houston Gamblers in the South Division Championship at Protective Stadium on Sunday, June 25 at 6.p.m. CST. The game will be broadcasted on FOX.
