Round of 16 Voting for Alabama’s Best Football Player is Open

The second round of our bracket to determine the fan's choice for best Alabama football player of all-time begins now.

With our listeners' help, we want to find out who Bama fans think is the greatest player to ever suit up in crimson and white. We've created this 32-player bracket based on all of the nominations we received on air and randomly generated the matchups. It'll run until the end of the week with a winner being crowned on Friday night.

The opening round featured some highly-competitive showdowns, but none of them could top George Teague vs Rolando McClain. With more than 500 votes cast, it was a dead heat. The chances of a tie were so improbable that we didn't plan for a tiebreaker so we improvised on-air and had the callers sound off one last time to send Teague through to the next round.

Voting will run until 7PM CDT on Tuesday night and will continue to be a major topic of conversation during The Game. With some incredibly tight matchups expected throughout the bracket, you'll want to tune in and be a part of the debate.
