Former Alabama guard Retin Obasohan didn't get drafted last week, but he'll still get a shot to make an NBA roster.

During a conference call on Monday, Crimson Tide head coach Avery Johnson shared the news that the Sacramento Kings signed the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Pretty soon after the news broke, Obasohan shared this simple message.

Despite working out for seven different NBA teams, Obasohan was passed up during the two rounds of the NBA Draft last week. But now he'll have the opportunity to impress the Kings beginning with the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He and his former teammate Levi Randolph will be competing against each other when the league begins in July.
