This Thursday at 12:30 pm CT, the Alabama softball team will begin play in the 2015 SEC Softball Tournament in Baton Rouge, LA, as the 3rd seed in the conference.  Their first game will be against the winner of the Georgia-Ole Miss contest on Wednesday.  The Tide have won 5 SEC Tournaments in program history.

On Monday, head coach Patrick Murphy spoke to reporters about the tournament and his team's performance going into the event.  He was joined by senior infielder Danae Hays and sophomore infielder Marisa Runyon.  Runyon made history this season by being the first Crimson Tide player ever to have four games with multiple home runs in a single season.
