Remember last year when Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace called out Alabama's defense? Wallace told the media prior to the matchup that the Rebels would score points on the Crimson Tide.

"Yeah, I think we can put points on them. I think we can put points on anybody," Wallace said. We just have to show up and play. It's the same thing every week, let's stay on schedule, control the tempo and don't have any turnovers."

Not only did Ole Miss not score in the 25-0 loss, its offense finished with 159 passing yards and 46 rushing yards, both numbers being season lows. Tide players also enjoyed sacking Wallace in the endzone for a safety.

Apparently Ole Miss players did not learn from the mistake their quarterback made last season because safety Cody Prewitt, a preseason All-SEC member, told FoxSports.com that Alabama is not as good as they have been in recent years.

"We understand that we haven't played a team that's going to be as good as 'Bama," Prewitt said. "But we don't think 'Bama is as good as they have been, and we're better than we have been. We're looking forward to getting to the game plan and nailing down all the tweaks and stuff that we're going to have to put into 'Bama."

The comments will provide more hype to the top 25 matchup in Oxford where College Gameday has chosen to set up for the first time in the show's history. The undefeated Rebels enter Saturday's game as 6 point underdogs and have not beaten the Crimson Tide since 2003.
