Alabama head coach Nick Saban put a wrap on spring practice with a press conference following White's 17-13 win over Crimson at the A-Day game.

After a scoreless first half, the white team scored the first points of the game on a D.J. Pettway interception return for a touchdown. Crimson tied the game on a T.J. Yeldon touchdown run following a turnover, but white would eventually build a 10-point lead before allowing a late score to make it 17-13.

The quarterbacks were in the spotlight Saturday afternoon as the Crimson Tide looks to replace three-year starter AJ McCarron. While Blake Sims came in with all of the momentum, the senior threw two interceptions and never seemed comfortable in front of more than 70,000 fans.

Yeldon was named the MVP for the third straight year on A-Day as he was one of the few bright spots on a sluggish offensive day.

The Crimson Tide will have some time off before summer workouts begin and then fall camp starting sometime in August.
