The decision by LSU on Les Miles' future is one that will have an impact far beyond the city limits of Baton Rouge, and one that might directly affect Alabama will come in recruiting.

Nick Saban has built a strong presence in the state of Louisiana and frequently goes head-to-head with LSU for blue chip players. Should the Tigers change directions at head coach, Alabama stands to benefit from the uncertainty on the Bayou.

One player that LSU and Alabama have both been recruiting heavily since middle school is linebacker Dylan Moses, who plays high school football in the shadows of Tiger Stadium. The one-time LSU commitment re-opened up his recruitment in August and recently visited Tuscaloosa for a home game.

SEC Country spoke exclusively with Moses this week to get his thoughts on Miles, and he sent a long, thoughtful response that you can read here. It's pretty clear that the sophomore has a strong relationship with the head coach and believes in the direction of the program.

But what if LSU makes a change?

“To be honest, that is still yet to be decided,” he told SEC Country. “I know for sure if I don’t end up at LSU, I’ll end up somewhere in the state of Texas or Alabama.”

This battle will be one to watch over the next two years, and LSU's decision on Miles might have the biggest impact.
