How Will Alabama Replace Pitcher Jon Keller This Weekend?

SEC-leading Alabama will be without Sunday starter Jon Keller when the team travels to South Carolina this weekend.

Head coach Mitch Gaspard announced that the junior has been suspended for violating team rules and won't make the trip. There hasn't been a decision made as to who will replace Keller, who's been one of the most effective pitchers in the league this season (5-1, 1.94 ERA).

No. 9 Alabama will be playing one of its biggest series in years against No. 11 South Carolina. The Crimson Tide will try to maintain its first place standing in the conference at a place where the Gamecocks have only lost four times in 28 games this season.

Chris Stewart will have the call on Tide 99.1 beginning at 6:00pm CT.
