George Whitfield is one of the best quarterback coaches in the game now, teaching and instructing the likes of great talent such as Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Ben Roethlisberger, and Jameis Winston. But he had especially high praise for one of his newest students, Alabama quarterback Blake Barnett, as he joined Ryan Fowler inside The Game.

Come September 5, Alabama has to trot out a quarterback under center, and it seems as though the leaders in the clubhouse are redshirt senior Jake Coker and redshirt freshman David Cornwell. However, there's another name that is turning some heads, and to many people's surprise, it's a true freshman.

Blake Barnett, one of the top high school prospects in the 2015 recruiting class, worked with Whitfield over the past year and a half, improving his technique and learning the intricacies of the most important position in football.

And his progress didn't go unnoticed.

Whitfield, while on with Fowler Friday night, talked about how Barnett could very well be the most impressive student he's ever coached.
