Former Alabama outfielder Taylor Dugas will soon be making his Major League Baseball debut with the New York Yankees.

An eighth round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft, Dugas will reportedly get the call up from Triple A to replace outfielder Carlos Beltran.

Dugas has struggled to start the 2015 season after three strong years in the Yankees' farm system. Despite a .198 average this year, the left-handed hitter carries a career .281 batting average and a .402 on-base percentage.

When he left Alabama after starting all four years, the Louisiana native ranked in the top-10 in 14 different statistical categories. He still holds the school record for career hits, singles, doubles, and triples.
