Harvey Updyke will return to the state of Alabama in September to give fans a chance at revenge.

The infamous Alabama fan and Toomer trees killer has agreed to take part in a charity event in Mobile to help raise money for the family of John Oliver, a local boy who died of cancer in July. Updyke will give fans the option to dunk him in a tank of water or throw a pie in his face.

"He thought about it and thought about it," Updyke's wife, Elva, told ESPN. "His daughter said he needed to do it because it will show that he's not as big of a nut as some people believe. He told them they can do whatever they want to him if it will raise money for kids."

The event has been organized by Alabama fan T.J. Hodges, who started a nonprofit organization called Roses From Linda to help raise money for families to visit their terminally ill relatives.

Following the Iron Bowl in 2010, Updyke poisoned the 130-year-old oak trees at Toomer's Corner in Auburn and bragged about it to the Paul Finebaum Show. He would eventually plead guilty to those actions in 2013 and served his jail time, but he's still responsible for nearly $800,000 in restitution for killing the trees.
