The departure of Antonio Cromartie to the Arizona Cardinals in the off-season has raised expectations for Milliner as he enters his second season, but that doesn't appear to worry the former 9th overall draft pick. He decided channel his inner Richard Sherman when answering questions about the upcoming season.

"The best corner in the league? Me," Milliner told the New York Daily News. "I ain't going to say that somebody else is better than me. They say the pressure is on, but I ain't worried about it. I'm not worried about pressure. I go out there and do what I am coached to do."

Brian Costello, Jets beat writer for the New York Post, joined Houston and Huber to discuss what Jets' fans think of Milliner's comments.

"I think sometimes the Jets' fans get weary [of player comments], especially with Dee," Costello said. "He had a very tough rookie season like why don't you go out and do a little first before you start talking? I think a lot of eyes rolled at what he said."

While Milliner's comments are questionable, Costello does agree that the Jets have high hopes for the cornerback.

"They (the Jets) are very confident in Dee. They liked what they saw at the end of last season," Costello said. "He went against Josh Gordon and Mike Wallace in the last two weeks of the season and played pretty well. He was Defensive Rookie of the Month in the AFC for December. So they feel like last year he was just really hurt."
