For the second straight game, an Alabama wide receiver left the game early due to injury. But in this case, it shouldn't be as serious.

Senior Christion Jones missed most of the second half of Saturday's 41-0 win over Florida Atlantic with an ankle injury that sent him into the locker room early.

"He’s OK," Alabama coach Nick Saban said. "I think he got like a helmet on the outside of his ankle, just a bruise. I think he’ll be OK."

Prior to the injury, Jones made two catches for 51 yards.

Last week, DeAndrew White separated his shoulder against West Virginia – an injury that will take two weeks to recover from before he can resume playing.

The Crimson Tide had no other significant injuries against the Owls.
