The 19th commitment in Alabama's class of 2015 is California quarterback Blake Barnett, who made his decision a week after taking an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa.

Barnett, who is an Elite 11 participant and an Under Armour All-American Game invitee, had previously been committed to Notre Dame before re-opening his recruitment earlier this month. Some fans might be wondering if there's a chance he'll keep an open mind all the way until Signing Day next February, but he made things clear when he joined 'The Game' on Wednesday night.

"They will be (notified) if they're trying to recruit (me)," Barnett told host Ryan Fowler. "I'm closing down my recruitment completely, and I'm firming my commitment."

The University of Alabama has already received verbals from 19 players for 2015 so space is becoming very limited, but Barnett will soon be helping fill the remaining spots.

"I'm still kind of caught up in the moment since this has all escalated quickly, but Coach Kiffin is going to get back to me pretty soon with names to go after," Barnett said. "I'm excited about that, too. That's another priority I have going into my senior year, to get some good players at Alabama and get the best recruiting class."

Barnett will be a January enrollee in 2015 and says he's looking foward to working with Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin.
