The Oklahoma City Thunder officially announced Monday that Anthony Grant would be a part of Billy Donovan's new coaching staff.

The move was has been speculated since early May when Donovan accepted the NBA head coaching position following the departure of Scott Brooks in Oklahoma City. At the time, Grant was a newly hired assistant coach for the Florida Gators. He took that job shortly after being dismissed at Alabama.

The former Crimson Tide head coach began his career as an assistant under Donovan and Marshall and Florida before getting his first head coaching opportunity at VCU. This will be his first coaching experience in the NBA.
