Alabama practiced inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility for its afternoon workout on Saturday to avoid the 97-degree heat. It was the Crimson Tide's final practice of fall camp ahead of next week's season opener against West Virginia in Atlanta.

The team practiced in full pads.

Observations:

- As has been the case all of August, the first group along the offensive line has been Cam Robinson, Arie Kouandjio, Ryan Kelly, Alphonse Taylor and Austin Shepherd. This appears to be the group who will start against the Mountaineers next Saturday.

- Blake Sims was the first quarterback up during drills. Alabama coach Nick Saban has said Sims and Jacob Coker are alternating each practice as the first-team quarterback. Alec Morris appears to be third in line at quarterback ahead of Cooper Bateman and David Cornwell.

- Dillon Lee, normally an outside linebacker, was practicing with the inside linebackers.

The Crimson Tide gets a break from practice Sunday before shifting into its game week practice schedule on Monday.
