A tip-in with less than as the clock expired in overtime sunk the Alabama men’s basketball team on the road at Arkansas, 93-91, on Thursday evening inside Bud Walton Arena. With the loss, Alabama sinks to 12-6 overall and 2-3 in SEC play.

In a game that featured 15 ties and 14 lead changes, the Crimson Tide and Razorbacks battled all night into overtime, but a tip-in by the Hogs as the clock ran out finished off the game in Arkansas’ favor. Alabama scored a season-high 91 points thanks to 12 three-pointers, also a season high, but it wasn’t enough to claim the victory. The Tide was led in scoring by freshman Justin Coleman who collected a career-high 22 points. Junior guard Ricky Tarrant also added 20-plus, contributing 21 to the Alabama total.

Alabama’s next action comes this Saturday, Jan. 24, as in-state rival Auburn travels to Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide and Tigers tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT with the game airing on The SEC Network.
