Alabama football has returned to a familiar position in the AP Top 25 after a decisive win against Georgia. The Crimson Tide has moved back into the top 10 in the rankings following a two week absence.

Nick Saban's program ended a streak of 69 straight weeks in the AP top 10 after a loss to Ole Miss in week 3, but it only took two games to move back in at No. 8. Alabama remains the highest ranked one-loss team in college football and even sits ahead of a number of undefeated teams.

The Crimson Tide will face off against two of those undefeated teams this season: No. 7 LSU and No. 9 Texas A&M.

Ohio State remains atop the poll, but its stranglehold on first place is weakening after a lack of convincing wins. TCU, Baylor, Utah, and Texas A&M also received first place votes this week.

Here is the complete list of Top 25 teams in The Associated Press college football poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Oct. 3, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote, and previous ranking:
