Six Alabama players were recognized by the coaching staff following Saturday’s 59-0 victory over Texas A&M. Arie Kouandjio and T.J. Yeldon were the honorees on offense, while Ryan Anderson and Reggie Ragland represented the defense. Reuben Foster and Dillon Lee made the special teams list.

Yeldon had the 14th 100-yard rushing game of his career as he ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries in just one half of action. He also caught three passes for 45 yards. Yeldon moved into a tie with Eddie Lacy for sixth place all-time in the Alabama record books with 30 rushing touchdowns. Kouandjio, the starter at left guard, had one of the better games of his career on the offensive line as UA topped 500 yards (602) for the fifth time in seven games this season. He had no penalties, no sacks, no pressures, and no missed assignments. The Crimson Tide went 9-of-15 on third down conversions and set a new school record with 35 points in the second quarter.

Ragland had another outstanding day as he recorded five tackles (1.5 for loss) and was in on a sack. He helped preserve the shutout with an interception at the Alabama 17-yard line. Anderson led all tacklers with six total stops, including one for loss. The defense finished the day with nine tackles for loss and six sacks while limiting A&M to eight first downs and 172 total yards. The Tide gave up just one third down conversion defensively on 13 attempts.

On special teams, Foster and Lee led the way in terms of production points. Foster had three tackles on kickoff coverage with two of those coming inside the 20. He also had a knockdown block on kickoff return. Lee tallied four special teams tackles as a member of the punt and kickoff teams.
