Trailing by nine with under 10 minutes to play, the Alabama men’s basketball team put together a late comeback, capped by Rodney Cooper’s game-winning putback on the Crimson Tide’s final possession to seal the 57-55 victory over Auburn. With Saturday evening’s win, Alabama improves to 13-6 on the season, including an even 3-3 mark in conference play.

Senior guard Levi Randolph took the reins in crunch time, dropping nine of the last 12 points for the Tide, including a seven-point run starting at the five-minute mark. Randolph paced UA with 18 points, while also adding seven rebounds, six of which came on the defensive glass.

Alabama will continue play at home on Tuesday, Jan. 27, when UA hosts the Florida Gators on ESPN. Tipoff between the two teams is set for 8 p.m. CT inside Coleman Coliseum.
