At the beginning of SEC play, the Alabama men's basketball team knocked off the Texas A&M Aggies by double digits in Coleman Coliseum.  As the Tide head to College Station for the final game of the regular season, the tables have turned drastically.  The Aggies currently sit in position to lock up an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.  The only way for Alabama to do that is win the SEC tourney.  In fact, Bama might need a win here to even have a postseason after the conference tournament.  The NIT isn't even guaranteed at this point.

If Alabama wants to pull off the upset, they'll have to do it without Ricky Tarrant and Shannon Hale, both of whom are out for the remainder of the Tide's games.  Hale successfully underwent surgery on his foot today and will be out for 6-8 weeks.  Tarrant had been out since the Florida game back in January, and has already undergone surgery on his knee.

Alabama will tip off against Texas A&M in College Station at 1 pm CT.  The game will be televised on FSN and you can hear the Crimson Tide Sports Network's coverage on our sister station 95.3 FM.

This afternoon, head coach Anthony Grant spoke to the media his team prepares for one last go this regular season:
