Due to rain on Friday evening, Alabama baseball will play a traditional doubleheader with Ole Miss on Saturday, the two teams announced.

The first game of Saturday’s twinbill will start at Noon CT. The second game of the day will begin at 7 p.m. CT as originally scheduled with the contest airing live on the SEC Network. Both games of the day will be nine-inning affairs.

The doubleheader will be the Tide’s seventh of the season, including four already during conference play before tomorrow’s pair of matchups.

Alabama and Ole Miss will meet for the 348th and 349th times on Saturday when the two teams square off for the pair of games. The series dates back to 1895, with the Crimson Tide owning the all-time advantage, 204-141-2, including a 73-63-1 record in Oxford.
