As August approaches, the staff at Tide 99.1 is laying out its predictions on some of the bigger questions heading into Alabama's 2015 season. Next up: the team's offensive MVP.

Lane Kiffin lost a lot of playmakers off a record-setting 2014 offense so there are plenty of questions marks with this unit. Gone are running back T.J. Yeldon, quarterback Blake Sims, and the team's top three receivers (Amari Cooper, DeAndrew White, Christion Jones).

But all is not lost for Alabama. Plenty of talent returns, including dynamic running backs Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake. The quarterback position remains unsettled, but could the winner of that position battle have another breakout season throwing the football? That's very possible because there will be plenty of talented wide receivers and tight ends to target.

With all of that in mind, here's who we think will be the team's offensive MVP in 2015:

Chris Stewart (Show Host) - Kenyan Drake's versatility will make him the Tide's most lethal weapon under Lane Kiffin.

Ryan Fowler (Show Host) - Kenyan Drake will be given every opportunity to be the MVP. Do not be surprised if he leads the teams in receptions, plus get an additional 10-14 touches on running the football. He told us at SEC meetings, he was between 215-220 lbs and running the 40 in the upper 4.3s. This confirms he has worked extremely hard to get ready for the season. Expect big things from #17.

Ryan McMunn (Producer) - Honestly, the most valuable player for the Tide’s offense will be Cam Robinson at the left tackle position, but we all know that the linemen don’t get the credit they deserve, so behind him will be the lead running back, Derrick Henry. Henry will shoulder the bulk of the running burden for Alabama this season, and with the uncertainty of the quality of quarterback play now, the running game will become exponentially more important than the past few years.

Trey Brooks (Producer) - Kenyan Drake. Derrick Henry will carry the load, but Drake's versatility makes him invaluable to this offense.

Kevin Connell (Contributor) - Cam Robinson. The Crimson Tide will have a near-complete overhaul among its offensive personnel this season, but Robinson will be one of the few familiar (and most dependable) faces returning in 2015. A preseason Outland Trophy (top interior lineman) candidate, Robinson, a 2014 freshman All-American, should play a huge role again this season, particularly early in the season in protecting the Tide’s new, yet-to-be-named quarterback starter.

Ben George (Digital Managing Editor) - Forget the MVP of Alabama's offense. Kenyan Drake has the talent to become the SEC's offensive MVP in 2015. He'll be used all over the field under Kiffin, which should put him in some hugely advantageous matchups. Drake possesses a quickness that very few RBs before him could match, and that should be on full display this season.
